MaterialsSorted is developing a simpler way for tradespeople to compare whole-job material baskets across price, availability, travel time and delivery.

Buying materials for a job usually means checking supplier after supplier: one has the timber, another has the boards, and the cheapest price is worthless if it means a 40 minute detour or a wait until next week. We look at the basket as a whole — everything you need for the job — and show which buying option actually gets you working soonest for the best total cost.
